Heading towards me

Came a flock of girls

With eyes like raisins

And lemonade curls

 

They seemed to know a thing or two

But had they seen my friend

They pointed very pointedly

Just around the bend

That's when we found him where he sat

Ears aglow under a bowler hat

Trying to pull a rabbit out of a cat

 

He'd been following a buttercup

To find out where it grows

But stopped a while to comb through

The whiskers on his toes

 

Clouds and rainbows everywhere

They covered up his sight

So he crept down a foxhole

And switched on the light

 

That's when we found him where he sat
