Seems that I have wasted the morning

Waking up inside of

Dreams of junipers, tea and trumpets

conifer trees and camomile

 

Butterfly finds its way to flower

Bumble bee follows in its wake

Endless lazy lingering hours

Swimming in a radiant

lake of words and tunes and laughter

echoing when shadows

grow and birds take wing in silence

Fill the air with memories

 

Slowly wandering through the meadows

Bathing in the evening glow

Lying down upon a bed of

Burdock, dandelion, rose and

Fragrant wonders filling the senses

All is near and all is

Warm from endless days of summer

Shameless, fickle, young and free
